I’m proud to serve as the Principal Broker and Owner of Midwest Insurance Brokers. Before starting MIB, I spent more than three years at Kitterman State Farm, where I gained valuable experience in property, casualty, life, and health insurance. That time taught me not only the technical side of insurance, but also how important it is to build lasting relationships and truly understand each client’s needs.
I’m excited to continue helping families and businesses in our area protect what matters most through customized coverage and a more independent approach.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll usually find me outside with friends and family. I enjoy playing frisbee golf, golfing, skateboarding, camping and hunting. Staying active keeps me balanced and brings fresh energy into the work I do every day. I look forward to serving all your insurance needs with MIB!
Mat Hamaker
General Manager
I am proud to call the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota my home. Born in Rapid City
and raised in Hot Springs, I spent some time moving around the Midwest before life
brought me back home. I have two young children who keep me grounded and
motivated every day.
Before transitioning into insurance, I worked as a licensed Locomotive Engineer and Conductor. Thankfully, I discovered a passion for insurance and truly enjoy the work I do now. In my free time, I love to hunt and fish, especially with family and friends. When I can’t get outdoors, I enjoy the occasional video game to unwind.
I am honored to be the General Manager of Midwest Insurance Brokers. I am passionate about learning, sharing knowledge, and connecting with people. I deeply value my relationships with our customers and believe that at MIB, we are more than just a team — we are a family, and our customers are an important part of that family.
Kameron Cochran

I grew up in Sturgis, South Dakota, with a lifelong appreciation for community and helping
others. After college, my wife and I spent time living in South Carolina and Florida, where I
worked as a Power Lineman before returning home to pursue a career focused on people. I
began in real estate and still maintain my real estate license, reflecting my ongoing passion for
helping clients achieve their goals. I then transitioned into insurance, gaining two years of
valuable experience with Kitterman State Farm, and I’m now proud to continue serving clients
as part of the team at Midwest Insurance Brokers.
Health and fitness have always been a major part of my life, and I’m passionate about staying
active both in and out of the gym. I also love being on or near the water—whether swimming,
surfing, or spending time at the lake or beach. My wife and I share a love for traveling, with a
goal of exploring a new country each year. No matter where life takes me, my favorite
moments are those spent with my wife and our dogs.

Hi, I’m Stacia! I was born and raised right here in Rapid City, and I’m proud to call this
community home. I’m engaged and a proud mom to a handsome one-year-old son, who keeps
life full of joy and adventure.
When I’m not in the office, I love spending time outdoors—whether it’s hiking, swimming, four-
wheeling, or just exploring new places. I also enjoy trying different foods and experiencing new
cultures whenever I get the chance.
I’m excited to bring that same energy and curiosity into my work here at Midwest Insurance
Brokers. Helping people find the right insurance coverage is something I truly enjoy, and I look
